Summary

This week we are returning to our series: The ABC's of the Catholic Faith. It's week seven, so that means we are on the letter G, and will be talking about Grace. Although this is a difficult topic (you can't see, touch, or smell grace!) we will do our best, and pray that God will help us understand Him and His gifts just a bit more fully!

0:35.8	St. Jerome lived in the 300th, shortly after Christianity
0:39.6	was legalized in the Roman Empire. But that didn't put him in a pretty good mood. He was known for
0:46.9	calling out people who were not living a fully Christian life. Eventually, he moved to Bethlehem.
0:53.6	It is tradition that he lived in the very place where
0:56.6	Jesus was born, and he spent many years there laboriously translating the Bible from Greek,
1:05.1	Hebrew, Aramaic, into Latin, which was the universal language of the Roman Empire at the time.

1:13.9	He was devoted to his work.
1:16.0	And his work to translate the Bible made it accessible to millions of people.
1:21.8	And a lot of times the work that he did is still the foundation of the Bibles that we read.
1:27.0	So he wasn't always in a good mood,
