1:15.1	Today is also the feast day of St. Cyprian of Carthage.
1:22.8	Now, Carthage is in a region in northern Africa, we know as Tanzania, and Cyprian lived in the 200th, so a long time ago. But let me tell you, he is a very interesting guy. He grew up a pagan, had a full
1:30.3	conversion to Christianity, committed himself to chastity, and served the church as a priest
1:37.3	and a bishop. Now, he lived during a really interesting time when the church was being persecuted.
1:43.8	And because of this, he actually worked really hard
1:46.6	to refine the sacraments, to prayerfully lead the church in understanding both the sacrament
1:52.2	of baptism and the sacrament of confession more fully. We could talk a lot about him. He's a really
1:59.0	cool guy, Cyprian of Carthage.
