Hey there, Sprouse. Today is Friday, August 2, 2024. Today is also the feast day of St. Peter

Julian Imard. He was a French priest who lived in the 1800s. He actually grew up making knives. Everybody has a profession

before. He grew up making knives, but he answered a call to the priesthood, and he founded a couple of

orders. He founded the priests of the Blessed Sacrament, and also the servants of the Blessed Sacrament, which is an order for women.

Like many saints in our Catholic tradition, St. Peter Julian Imard suffered greatly during his life, not only from persecution, but he had years of insomnia at the end of his life, meaning he was very rarely able to sleep.

Now, this week on the Catholic Sprouts podcast, we have been wrapping up our look at the

corigma by discussing the seventh truth that we are called to go forth and proclaim the good

news of God's saving love. Before we wrap this up, please join me in our
