Hey there, Sprouse. Today is Friday, June 28th, 2020. This week we are talking about the churigma, specifically the second truth. That sin is real, that it separates us from God.

Now, today we are talking about Satan in our final way that we need to understand him,

and that is as the Father of Lies.

And so as we seek truth and clarity, please join me in our prayer to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

In the name of the Father and of the Son,

and of the Holy Spirit, amen. O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you,

I love you, and with lively sorrow for my sins, I offer you this poor heart of mine.

Make me humble, patient, pure, and wholly obedient to your will. Grant good Jesus that I may live in you and for you. Protect me in the midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions.

Give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs. Your blessing on all that I do.

And the grace of a holy death, amen. So this week we have covered a lot of ground. We've talked about the fact that

hell is real, that sin is any failure to love God or our neighbors fully and genuinely. We've also met

Satan, who is real, who with a legion of fallen angels,

who rejected God permanently, he seeks to break our relationship with God. He wants us to forget

about our duty to other people and to doubt that God has in mind for us

what is best that he loves us.

Now, finally, we need to recall that Jesus in the gospel,

refers to Satan in many ways as the ruler of the world,

but he also refers to him as the father of lies.
