This week we are continuing our investigation of the Kerygma. Last week was the good news...and this week is the bad news. Sin is real, Satan is our enemy, and sin separates us from God and His good plan for our lives.

So yesterday we talked about Satan.

He is a fallen angel that has forever rejected God, and all that God is, all that it is good,

So what is Satan's goal for us? Why does he attack us? Why did he attack Adam and Eve

in the garden? Well, Satan wants us to ultimately be trapped in sin. Sin really becomes a trap. Sometimes if you have ever done this, if you've ever

told one lie, you sometimes realize that you have to tell another and another and another.

And soon, if you're ever going to be honest, you would have to unwind a huge mess that you have made.
