Before we dig into those, though, please join me in our June prayer, prayer to the sacred

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen. O most holy heart of Jesus, fountain of every blessing, I adore you, I love you, and with lively sorrow for my sins, I offer you this poor heart of mine. Make me humble, patient, pure, and wholly

obedient to your will. Grant good Jesus that I may live in you and for you. Protect me in the

midst of danger. Comfort me in my afflictions. Give me health of body, assistance in my temporal needs,

So like we talked about yesterday, as human beings, we have two parts, our body, but also our soul.

So yesterday, the corporal works of mercy are caring for the bodies of other people, but we also care for the souls of other

people through the spiritual works of mercy. Once again, there are seven of these, and here they are. Number one, instruct the ignorant.

Number two, counsel the doubtful. Three, admonish sinners. Four, forgive offenses. Five, comfort the afflicted.

And number seven, pray for the living and the dead.
