Hey there, Sprouds. Today is Friday, February 15th, 2019. This week on the Catholic Sprauds

podcast, we have been digging deep into a touchy topic, the topic of purity. We started the

week by talking about our Lady of Lords in St. Bernadette. Then we talked about what purity

is, and we used the example

of our pristine baptismal gown that we need to fight to keep clean and pure. Next, we talked about

what modesty is and how we need to protect and veil certain secret parts of our body.

We also talked about yesterday how we need

to guard our eyes and make sure that the windows to our soul don't take everything in,

but that we protect our soul from those things that will damage it. Now today we are going to

talk about true beauty. It's part of the big confusion

with modesty and with all of the images that our world creates is that we don't know what is

truly beautiful. People think that a woman wearing little clothes is beautiful, but we know that this isn't true.

We know that true beauty is something completely different.

We should never be ashamed of our body because we know that it is a gift from God created uniquely for us.

But instead of displaying it, we should protect it because it is a gift.

And instead, we should allow our true beauty to shine forth. Now, to really understand what

true beauty is, let's go back to our Lady of Lords.

She was beautiful.
