| 1:22.5 | And when we tell lies, we are denying God and we are behaving like Satan, the father of lies. |
| 1:31.5 | And so today, we're going to continue to talk about this. |
| 1:34.5 | Now, the catechism tells us that Jesus, God, when he became man and lived among us, |
| 1:42.0 | that he was the fullness of God's truth, that it was this full, complete |
| 1:50.0 | experience, including what Jesus did while he was alive, that he willingly suffered and died, |
| 1:58.0 | that he conquered death, rose from the dead, and then he calls us all to be his |
| 2:02.7 | followers, to deny ourselves like he did, and to one day join him in heaven, that who he was, |
| 2:10.3 | what he did, that is the truth, the truth of who God is, what God's heart is like, |
| 2:17.2 | and also what we are called to be and to do. |
| 2:21.8 | And so we are called to not only tell truth with our mouth, but to abide in Jesus's truth, |
| 2:29.4 | to live what is true. And so this is the big challenge of the Eighth Commandment. We can tell lies in all |
