+ Monday: Marriage is a sacrament and a sign to the world that reveals the very nature of God.

+ Tuesday: Through Marriage, a husband and a wife become co-creators with God. Their love produces another person.

+ Wednesday: What is chastity and how do we strive for chastity through self-mastery?

+ Thursday: It can be tempting to use people, but through the gift-of-self, we are able to respond with love to all people.

+ Friday: Our primary vocation is to love. What we do with our bodies matters. What we do inside of our minds matters as well.

Hey there, sprouts. Today is Friday, October 13th, 2020. This week, we are talking about the Sixth Commandment. You shall not commit adultery. Before we wrap up our discussion,

0:37.1

though, let's call down the great power of the

0:40.0

Holy Spirit. Just as our patron for the B.A. St. John Paul II did every single day. In the name of

0:48.9

the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen. Come Holy Spirit, Creator blessed, and in our souls take up

0:58.8

thy rest. Come with thy grace and heavenly aid to fill our hearts which thou hast made.

1:07.2

O comforter, to thee we cry, O heavenly gift of God most high, O font of life and fire of love, and sweet anointing from above. Amen.

So we've talked a lot this week. I hope above above all else, that you have a bigger reverence for marriage, not only for the sacrament,

the institution, but also for the married people in your life.

2:13.5

pure and prepared well for marriage. So take care of yourself, pray that you can face those

2:20.3

temptations well. But if you feel that God is calling you to marriage, it can be a beautiful thing

2:25.8

once a day, even just in a quick thought to pray for your future spouse, that they can face those

2:33.2

temptations with Christ by their side,

2:36.2

just as you do. And so, Sprouse, as we wrap up this conversation about marriage, I just want

2:42.9

you to really take to heart one truth that applies to people, whether they are married or priests or single. And this truth is that the

2:54.1

primary vocation of all human beings is to love. That is our primary vocation. Now the word

3:04.8

vocation we can use in a lot of different ways.
