| 1:13.0 | what we remember him for perhaps above all else is that he called for the second Vatican Council. |
| 1:21.1 | And in fact, today, the day that we are celebrating his feast day is the date of the opening of that session of Vatican II. |
| 1:31.1 | And a beautiful link is that he was a cardinal at the time, Carol Watoya, who we know now as Pope St. |
| 1:38.2 | John Paul II. |
| 1:39.5 | He played an important part in that council. |
| 1:42.8 | So let's all pray through both of these great Pope and saints intercession |
| 1:48.1 | that we can truly absorb the wisdom of those councils, |
| 1:52.2 | particularly on marriage and family. |
| 1:55.9 | So we are talking about the Sixth Commandment today, |
