Saints Cosmos and Damien. Now, St. Cosmos and Damien were brothers. They are early

Christian martyrs who died in the year 303.

Before their death, these two brothers lived in what is now Turkey, and they were physicians

who dedicated their lives to serving the poor out of Christian charity.

However, in the early 300s, a great persecution erupted under the

Emperor Diocletian, and Cosmos and Damien were arrested, tortured, and eventually crucified

because they refused to renounce their faith in Jesus Christ. Let's pray through these two great
