0:30.0	Saints Cosmos and Damien. Now, St. Cosmos and Damien were brothers. They are early
0:36.5	Christian martyrs who died in the year 303.
0:41.3	Before their death, these two brothers lived in what is now Turkey, and they were physicians
0:46.6	who dedicated their lives to serving the poor out of Christian charity.
0:52.2	However, in the early 300s, a great persecution erupted under the
0:56.6	Emperor Diocletian, and Cosmos and Damien were arrested, tortured, and eventually crucified
1:03.7	because they refused to renounce their faith in Jesus Christ. Let's pray through these two great
1:09.9	saints, these two brothers, that we can be that strong in our faith in Jesus Christ. Let's pray through these two great saints, these two brothers, that we can be

1:39.1	and life. penetrate and possess our whole being so utterly that our lives may only be a radiance of yours

1:55.5	presence in our soul let them look up and see no longer us, but only Jesus. Amen. So yesterday we talked about the
2:05.2	Fourth Commandment, which states, honor your father and mother, that your days may be long,
2:12.4	which the Lord your God gives you. So that's the commandment, and we reminded ourselves that this is a call to charity
