Hey there, sprouts. Today is Monday, September 25th, 2020. This week, we are continuing on with our series on the Ten Commandments. We are on the Fourth Commandment, which reads, honor your father and mother, that your days may be long,

which the Lord your God gives you. So this week we are going to be talking about parents, children,

family, they're a gift and responsibility that we each have as members of our own family.

But before we dive into that, please join me in praying the fragrance prayer,

which we have been learning this month in the B.S.A. St. Kids Club.

In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, amen.

Dear Jesus, help us to spread your fragrance everywhere we go.

Flood our souls with your spirit and life. Penetrate and possess our whole being so utterly

that our lives may only be a radiance of yours. Shine through us and be so in us that every person we

should come in contact with may feel your presence in our soul. Let them look up and see no longer

us, but only Jesus. Amen. So let's begin talking about the fourth commandment. Now, I want you to notice

something. If you have studied the Ten Commandments at all, you realize that the first three

commandments have to do with our relationship with God, honoring God as the only God, the true God, reverencing God's

name and sacred objects, and also obeying his command to keep the Sabbath day or the day

with Him. The Fourth Commandment makes a shift, and we are now looking at our relationship with

other people. Now, God is Almighty, and so the order that he has given us the Ten Commandments is important. So it's important to realize that
