Today is the 29th day in the fourth month in the year of our Lord,

My name is Sir Roland Paterlot, and you're listening to Saturdays with Sir Roland on Catholic Sprouts,

where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon slain.

Today is the feast of the great St. Catherine of Siena, who is the youngest of 25 children in her family and one of only four female doctors

of the Catholic Church. Her leadership, teachings, and holiness had a great impact in the Catholic

Church. Today, we are training to slay the indigo dragon of gluttony named Gula, and I have invoked

the intercession of another female doctor of the church, St. Terese of Lassou, who was also a

youngest child, and I asked her to write you a letter. She was an ordinary girl who developed an

extraordinary method of dragon slaying known as the Little Way. Here now, to read the letter

is my lovely daughter, Lady Isabel.

My dear sisters and brothers in the Training Guild of Sir Roland Paterlot, my name is St. Charest

Martin. I write to you with much joy and desire that you sprout into great saints. Sir Roland has

asked me to train you and sling the indigo dragon

named Gula because he believes that my method of dragon slaying, called the little way, will be a

useful tool in slaying this dragon. I do know that you have had some amazing trainers for the other

dragons. I am humbled to even be mentioned in the same breath as the great saints that

have trained you so far, for I never did anything extraordinary in my life and had no extraordinary

gifts or talents. I was but a little soul, perhaps a bit spoiled, being the youngest of five girls
