Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Friday, April 28, 2023. Today is also the feast day of a favorite saint in my household, and I bet yours too. Today is the feast day of St. Gianna Verretta Mola. Now, St.

Gianna lived in this modern world. She didn't live that long ago. She was a mother. She was also a pediatrician,

meaning a doctor for children. St. Gianna was married and she had a couple of children before she became pregnant and had some very serious medical problems during that pregnancy. While she was

pregnant, the doctors tried to convince her to end the life of her child so that her life could be

saved, but she refused, knowing that her child's

life was just as valuable as hers. In the end, she gave birth to a healthy baby girl, but she died

just days later. She is a powerful example of motherhood, of family, and also the inestimal value of each and

every human life. Now, today we have the conclusion to Tommy's story at Mass, written and read by

Fyther Kyle Kowalsik, our spiritual director for this ministry,

and we will get there very soon. But first, let's pray. Join me in praying the conclusion to the

divine mercy chaplet, which we are learning this month as part of the Be a Saint Kids Club.

Name of the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, Amen. Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless

and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase your mercy in us,

that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to your

holy will, which is love and mercy itself. Amen. And without further ado, here is the

conclusion to Tommy's story. Just as Tommy had anticipated.

After the man had said a few more magical words that people all joined him in a battle cry,

everyone knew this one.

Then he mixed the sun and the lava together and ate it.

He burst into flames.

Only he wasn't burned up.
