Today is the 18th day in the second month in the year of our Lord, 2023.

My name is Sir Roland Paterlot, and you're listening to Saturdays with Sir Roland on Catholic Sprouts,

where every Saturday we discuss the art of dragon slain.

Today marks the exact halfway point

in our training to defeat the seven deadly dragons. There's seven dragons and four parts to each

dragon. Quick math tells me that is 28 episodes. We are on the green dragon, the one in the middle.

We've completed two of the four episodes on this Green Dragon. So today, we start the second

half in our training. I would also like to point out that this week marked the one-year anniversary

of Saturdays with Sir Roland. My first episode of Saturdays with Sir Roland was the 12th day of

February in the year of our Lord 2022. All I can say is that I am grateful to Catholic Sprouts and to all of you.

I have grown quite fond of you young slayers and parents out there, and whenever I receive a letter

or an email from a Training Guild member or Catholic Sprouts listener, it is truly the highlight of

my week. For example, just a few weeks ago, after doing the episode on the Spear as the weapon

representing the virtue of zeal, I received this message from a mom named Lady Anna Maria

from Alberta, Canada.

She wrote, We enjoy your podcast very much and look forward to it each weekend.

We have great discussions about what you share with us, and especially like your rhymes and jokes.

Today, my boys went into great detail about how they would physically slay a dragon with a spear.

Then I asked them how they would slay the dragon spiritually.

My oldest son, Augustine, replied, spear itchly.
