Hey there, Sprouts.

0:27.2

Today is Monday, January 30th, 2020.

0:33.7

Now, this week on the Catholic Sprouts podcast, we are finishing up January and beginning February.

0:38.9

So we are going to spend this week talking about some incredible saints that we are celebrating the feast days of. But today, we don't really have a well-known saint to celebrate.

0:46.4

So we are going to review all that we have talked about during the month of January while we

0:52.1

have been under the patronage of St. Andre Beset. So to get started,

0:58.5

let's work on finally memorizing those verses from Deuteronomy that remind us of the true

1:04.7

foundation of our faith. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, amen. Hear, O Israel, the Lord is our God,

1:58.1

but also that we need to practice hospitality, welcome people into our home,

2:03.4

and establish a covenant of friendship through a meal, and that we are called to pray for miracles.

2:10.3

Now, a big part of who St. Andre Beset was, was his devotion to one particular saint, and that saint was St. Joseph.

2:22.2

In fact, St. Andre Beset spent a large part of his life praying and then fundraising and working

2:29.3

with other people to build a gigantic chapel dedicated to St. Joseph, which you can all go and visit in Canada

2:38.9

today, if you would like. But he really was very close to the saint. In fact, when people

2:44.4

came back and said, Brother Andre, your prayers procured a miracle for us, He would always give that credit, of course, to God,
