Hey there, sprouts. Today is Friday, October 14th, 2020. We are also under the patronage of St. Trezile-Lesu, who is challenging you this week to pray the rosary, but also to learn and memorize the Hail Holy Queen prayer. So,

if you will join me, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry,

poor banish children of Eve. To thee, we send up our sighs mourning and weeping in this veil of tears. Turn then, most gracious advocate,

thine eyes of mercy, towards us, and after this our exile, show on to us the blessed fruit

of thy whom Jesus,

O clement, oh loving, oh sweet Virgin Mary,

pray for us, a holy mother of God,

that we made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

So far this week, we've talked about the Hail Holy Queen Prayer.

We've talked about roses offered to Mary. We've talked about rosary as a weapon.

And of course, the great naval victory, which earned Mary the title, Our Lady of Victory or Lady of the Rosary.

So today I'm going to talk about something that probably you've said yourself.

And this is the idea that the rosary is boring.

And I understand.

I have felt that the rosary is boring when I was a kid too.

It's hard because with the rosary, as you likely know, you say the same prayer over and over and over again.

But this isn't a mistake and the rosary wasn't put together just to make you feel bored.

There's a reason why we do that.

So we're going to talk about this.

So first of all, I want you to realize that we can meditate on the lives of Jesus and Mary forever and never completely explore or understand everything about the things they said and did. So keep that in mind.
