Hey there, Sprouts. Today is Friday, October 7th, 2022. Today is also the feast day of Our Lady of Rosary, or as it used to be known, Our Lady of Victory, which marks the day when through the intercession of the rosary, the Christian forces won a miraculous battle against the Ottoman Empire.

Now, we are under the patronage of Saint-Terez this month with our Bia St. Kiz Club.

So let's together pray the prayer she has challenged us to memorize this month,

the Hail Holy Queen. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Amen. Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.

To thee, do we send up our sighs, mourning, and weeping in this veil of tears? Turn then,

most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy, towards us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb, Jesus.

O clement, O loving, oh sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us, O holy mother of God, that we made worthy

of the promises of Christ. Amen. So we've been talking about St. Chures and her little way.

We talked yesterday about how step one of the little way is to be humble, to know who we are,

who God is, and act accordingly.

I am a sinner, but I am a beloved child of God.

Now, step two is to be confident.

To be confident in God.

Now another way to say this is to trust,

but I think being confident gets at what is actually required a little bit better.

Now, when we bring our prayers to God, if we are going to truly reach heaven through the little

way, we need to be confident.

And here is an example of what that means.

There was a holy man named Salinas Casey who lived not that long ago.

He was a monk, but he was not very brilliant.
