Hey there, Spouts. Today is Wednesday, October 5th, 2022. Today is also the feast day of St. Faustina, who was a Polish nun, and to whom Christ appeared with the image of the divine mercy.

If you remember in this image, Jesus is gesturing toward his heart where blue and red light is shining to remind us of the great mercy that he wants to flood into our lives.

Through St. Faustina, Jesus spread this image, but also the chaplet and the novena,

and reminds us that no matter what our sins might be, we should come to him and receive his

great divine mercy.

Now, we are in October under the patroness of St. Teres in our Be a St.

Kids Club.

So let's pray and work to memorize the beautiful prayer, hail holy queen.

In the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, amen.

Hail Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope.

To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve.

To thee, do we send up our sighs, mourning, and weeping in this veil of tears.

Turn then, most gracious advocate, thine eyes of mercy, towards and after this our exile show unto us the blessed fruit of thy womb Jesus

O clement o loving o sweet virgin Mary pray for us o holy mother of God that we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ. Amen.

So today we are going to start talking about the little way, St. Chores's path to heaven that

she discovered for the rest of us that aren't mystics, that aren't doing crazy fast, but are just little.

So previous popes who have made St. Cherez a saint and a doctor have put it this way.

St. Cherez's little way was a rediscovery of the heart of the gospel. People had been confused and in a lot of ways they had missed the point of what Jesus did and what Jesus said.

Yesterday we talked about how at the point when Trez was alive, many people thought that the message of the gospel was that the harder things that you do

for Jesus, the holier you will be. And although we do need to strive to do hard things, that's not the

point. That's not the point of the gospel. So what is the point of the gospel? Well, simply, the point of the gospel is love. Love. It really is that simple.
