He became a blessed in the Catholic Church in October 2020. But here's the crazy thing.

Even though Carlo's parents weren't practicing Catholics and didn't really talk to Carlo

1:56.7

about his faith, he had a nanny when he was a little boy named Betta. Now, this nanny loved

2:03.9

Pope John Paul 2 and would talk to Carlo all about the Polish Pope that she loved so much.

2:09.8

And this inspired Carlo to not only also love Pope John Paul 2, but to start asking questions

2:16.3

about God and why Pope John Paul 2 loved him so

2:20.2

much. His parents were pretty surprised when he started asking him these questions, and they were even
