Now I'm sure you've heard about it, but in case you haven't, here's what the bill does.

Counties have to have advanced voting on Saturdays and they have the option to do it on Sundays.

Current law only mandates one Saturday of early voting.

That's the only good thing in the bill.

The bill shortens the period between elections and runoffs from nine weeks to four weeks.

It limits the number of drop boxes allocated per county, hurting the large Democratic counties like Fulton and Decab.

voters standing in line. There's a lot in there that I don't like, but I want to draw your

attention to the two provisions that are the most problematic. Any Georgia
