0:04.0	And in a few minutes, we're going to hear from John King, who is the current chancellor of the SUNY State University of New York Education System, was the U.S. Secretary of Education.
0:13.9	He also ran New York State schools.
0:17.0	He ran a chunk of uncommon schools, which is probably my favorite network of charter schools.
0:21.7	He also founded Roxbury Prep, which is an early stage charter school out of Boston that influenced a lot of us in the work.
0:28.8	So he is somebody who knows a whole lot about education and is out with a new book called Teacher by Teacher.
0:34.9	And so we're going to talk all about the teaching profession, schools, education, John's story, and then we geek out on things like the Common Core,
0:41.9	et cetera. So you will learn a lot about K-12 education and a little bit about higher education
0:47.2	through that conversation. But before we get there, just a couple of things in my notebook.
0:51.1	Number one, just in terms of things I'm enjoying these days, I'm enjoying the
0:55.1	NBA right now. So far as I'm recording this, every game in this stage of the playoffs has been
1:01.9	an upset where the visitors have won every game, including my New York Knicks over the Celtics.
1:07.2	I think I'm going to go to the game on Saturday when the Celtics come to Madison Square
1:10.7	Garden, and it's a hard ticket to get, but it's one of those New York moments that seems can't really pass it up.
1:17.5	I don't know if our Knicks are going to continue their streak of good luck, but it's been really fun to watch.
1:22.0	The other thing I thought was really interesting is I watched the Mark Twain Prize that Conan O'Brien won the other day. They aired it on
1:30.0	Netflix. And I just enjoyed every second of it. For those of you who are millennials or older,
1:37.5	Conan's been in our life for so long. And it was just so much fun to see him recognized by so many people in the business.
1:46.0	It might be the last Mark Twain prize we get because of things that are happening at the Kennedy

1:50.9	And I'm just left thinking that this guy is probably the most successful, at least to me,
