Hello everybody, welcome back to another episode of Red Rum. Today we are going to be discussing

two very different cases, but they both happened in the same year in 1989, here in the UK,

one in Tumbridge Wells and the other one in Shepherds Bush in London. And I wanted to do a little

podcast presented by Mark and Bethan. And Bethan is currently on maternity leave. So Mark asked

if I'd pop over and listen to these two fascinating cases. And he very kindly said

I could pop the episode up on my feed, which is great because I am a little bit behind on red rum at

the moment. I maybe mentioned it briefly before. I am launching a new podcast at the end of September.

It's called The Final Cut and the first series is a ten-parter.

It's a very casual, fun talk-through with my friend Stu from British Murders,

and that first series, we are dissecting the ten saw films.

Very different vibes to Red Rum, but that's why I wanted to keep it as a very separate thing,

because I know a lot of people that listen to Red Rum are not horror film fans. It's totally

and utterly a very different thing. But it's something that interests me. I'm a big horror film

fan. So if you are, you're probably going to enjoy this. Each season is going to feature a

different guest co-host and a different

franchise. And to kick off, we are releasing the first episode on October 1st in the run-up to

Halloween. So, anyway, as you can imagine, it has been a busy few months getting that sorted.

And so Mark has kind of saved me this week by offering for us to have the collaboration episode I recorded with him earlier this week.

So I will be back on Monday with your regularly scheduled episode.
