Hi, this is Jay Parker with this week's sex chat quickie.

One of the best things my husband and I have done to increase our sexual frequency and engagement

is to get creative with timing.

Like many couples, we used to wait until the end of the day after everything else had happened

and try to squeeze in a bit of lovemaking before we surrender to exhaustion.

With jobs, kids, church activities, and more, our need for sleep often won out. But night time

isn't the only time to have sex. You can make love in the morning, often a favorite of men

because they experience their highest levels of testosterone at that time of day. Lunchtime or midday

might be an option, especially if you work at home or can get away for a short period.

For us, the sweet spot seemed to be when my husband returned home from work.

The kids were often watching a show or gaming then, and we could sneak off to our bedroom and have intimate time without interruption.

Plus, we still had some fuel left in the love tank before supper, household to-dos, and putting the kids to bed took their toll.

Now that we're empty nesters, we've shifted to earlier in the day as our preference.

And that's a good lesson, too, to talk to your spouse now and then about how the sexy schedule

is going and whether you need to make some adjustments. Be creative with your sex timing.

Not waiting until the end of the day, but considering which moments work best for you and your beloved,

you might find an increase in the number of times you make love, but you'll very likely find yourselves enjoying the experience more. And that's it for this week's sex chat quickie. Join
