Okay, I think we'll get started and I'll start with just with a short little review about what we talked about yesterday and then open it up for some questions or comments.

And yesterday I spoke about the five factors of endeavoring,

and it starts with faith.

So this idea of like wanting to apply oneself, wanting to engage with the practice, wanting to, I don't know, work towards anything.

It here's being applied to one spiritual path and towards awakening, but it would be towards anything.

The Buddha teaches these five factors, and I translated them as confidence, vitality, integrity, energy, and wisdom.

And maybe I'll just highlight, I mentioned this at the end yesterday,

but there was a reason why they were in this order too.

It starts with confidence.

We might use the word faith.

It's the same word in Polly, sadah or sadah.

And the faith kind of moves through vitality, integrity, energy, and comes to wisdom.

And whenever we see faith in a list, it's always the first one, first element in the list, and

wisdom is always the last element in the list.

And for me, I think this is noteworthy.

This practice isn't only about faith, but faith is an integral part. And maybe we could say the faith kind of shifts and

maybe we believed that then there's a certain way of knowing using those words kind of loosely.

So I spoke about the five factors of endeavoring and Ying spoke about faith being the starting point of the

Liberty dependent arising. Some of you are aware of this. This is is these steps that actually start with suffering and then go to faith.

And then through faith kind of like moves through what we kind of sometimes call the gladness

pent in, but goes all the way towards

awakening where it starts with faith that comes out of suffering comes out of
