Athlete Radio, episode 129. I'm Matt Frazier joined by Doug Hay and today we're talking

environment. Yeah this is just by my cup of tea. This is like your dream

situation right? It's like the best day you can imagine.

I think it might be my favorite episode ever.

Yeah, so we are interviewing Kip Anderson and Keegan Coon, who are, I think the co-directors, I hope I'm not messing that up, of

Cal Spiasy, which the runaway success documentary that Leonardo DiCaprio became the executive

producer on and I believe he's the one who was kind of instrumental in

getting it on to Netflix I could be mistaken about that as well but I know he's

been a huge part now his name appears in the opening credits of the film,

and that's apparently in the film world that's a big deal to get an actor to become executive

producer and put their name on something, particularly when it's about a topic that is controversial,

and pretty niche.

The idea that by stopping consuming animals and animal products, we could at least reversed the direction that a lot of the planet is heading as far as the environment goes.

Yeah.

So what was especially exciting about this interview is that we had our environmental correspondent Doug Hay on the interview with us.
