1:09.0 | I feel like maybe I'm going to be a broken record, but we're going to see what happens. |
1:14.0 | So before we get into cortisol questions and kind of adrenals and all those things, I kind of want to explain really, really basically what these are, what we're talking about and the effects. |
1:25.0 | So the adrenals do a whole bunch of things. |
1:29.0 | One of the things that they do is produce cortisol and cortisol helps us function. |
1:35.0 | We need cortisol. |
1:36.0 | We don't need too too much and we don't need too too little. |
1:39.0 | We just need the right amount. |
1:41.0 | And so what can oftentimes happen with our adrenals is we can over produce cortisol and our cortisol levels will get higher. |
1:50.0 | And over time, we can start under producing. |
1:53.0 | So your adrenals are these two little glands that sit on top of your kidneys on either side of your lower back. |
