and we are back with our annual end-of-year podcast to review and celebrate the 2023 year in trail running. As usual for the third year in a row, Corinne Malcolm is my co-host here to help break it all down. Free Trails Editor and Chief Trails Society co-host, great coach in the sport and my thought partner.

It's hard to believe, but I think we posted our first episode in December of 2019.

We were very inconsistent to start, and then I really just fell in love with the show

and doing it during the pandemic.

And slowly but surely and shockingly, it has sort of become my job.

And Freed Trail has slowly become my life's work.

As a longtime lifelong sports radio guy, I've always dreamed of having my own show. And it really is an

enough. So I just wanted to say here that I deeply, deeply appreciate each and every one of you
