Hello my friends, Carrie Green here. I am publishing a bonus episode here to speak to the

coronavirus situation that seems to be a global situation that's growing and that more and more people are being

concerned about. I was asked by one of our morning mindset partners to address

this from a biblical perspective and I feel like it is a timely thing for us to

consider because we of all people Christ's followers is who I'm referring to should be

the most confident, calm, and peaceful in a situation like this of anybody on the planet.

And there's many reasons for that.

First of all, we know who is ultimately in control

of situations that happen on the globe

from natural disasters all the way down

to the decisions of world leaders, including viruses like this. We know that God is in control and more

importantly we know that God. He is good. He is wise. He is all powerful and he is in charge for the good of his people and for his own glory. So we should not be in a state of panic in fear during this time. And so toward that end I want to

encourage you to listen to this episode with open years and an open heart

letting the Holy Spirit guide you to how you should be responding in your

particular corner of the world, in your situation, in light of this coronavirus situation.

Now first of all, I thought it would be helpful for us to look at some facts regarding

coronavirus.

The virus itself is technically known as SARS-S-C-O-V-2.

And that has been spreading around the globe.

It causes a respiratory illness that can become severe. The disease that this virus causes is

known as COVID-19 and it has a fatality rate meaning people people die from it, of less than 2%.
