Good morning my friends. Good evening, good afternoon. Welcome back to the

morning mindset. I am thankful you were joining me to get our minds aligned

with the truth of God.

Do you realize that with all the people listening to the morning mindset,

just as one example, who are intentionally taking the time to align their minds with God's truth. We are adding to the work God is doing in this world.

We are equipping ourselves for this day. We're preparing ourselves to walk in his way. I mean, look around you in the world where you live.

See all the faces, see the eyes that you'd lock with and recognize these are real people who are in need of the

Savior and in order for us to be used of God in their lives even small ways, we need to be aligned with him every day, don't we?

That's what the morning mindset is all about.

Let's dive in to 2nd Peter, chapter 2.

Peter has pointed out that false teachers will rise up among us and we've talked quite a lot

about that but Peter is not done talking to us about the false teachers.

He's got in fact the rest of this chapter

is about false teachers.

And in verse number six, he's speaking about

an illustration from the Old Testament,

the situation of Sodom and Gomorah, two cities that God brought judgment

upon because of their wickedness.

And he's using that to show us that God is able to deal with the wicked.

And a false teacher would qualify as someone who falls into that category of wicked.

And I'm going to read verse six to you and point something out.

He says, if by turning the cities of Sodom and Gamora to ashes,
