Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republican Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio. It's day two of the world's biggest talking shop up in Glasgow where the global elites have gathered to show off how virtuous they all are,

clapping, chanting, exaggerating, modelling, predicting, and of course, not forgetting the reading

of the poetry. So far, we've had all the usual suspects preaching doom and gloom.

Boris Johnson, we're all going to die. Archbishop Welby.

You'll be appeasing the Nazis if you don't stop climate change. UN chief Antonio Gutierrez

and President Joe Biden, of course, who apparently is going to be speaking every single hour

of the day today. Let's hope he can manage to stay awake, which he didn't manage to do yesterday.

Pictures have been falling asleep. Who can blame him? I think I'd be sleeping. I think I'd be

lying down, prostrate on the floor, if you ask me. They've told us that we're treating

the earth like a toilet. That ignoring climate change would be like appeasing the Nazis.

That we're strapped of a doomsday device and that our children will not forgive us if we do nothing.

And that there's still time to turn tragedy into triumph, really?

Well, if it's that bad, surely it's too late, isn't it?

Apparently not.

This is the message that the leaders of the world want to pass on to their citizens.

I think I have only one thing to say.

Never before. In the field of human conflict, there's so much

rubbish been talked by so many about an issue that it is still far too little evidence that we

can reverse whatever climate change is actually going on anyway. Tales from COP26 are so far

painting a picture of inefficiency, long queues for security, masses of private jets polluting the country,

and demos from All and Sundry.
