What's going on? I love being back here. Never gets old walking in this building and seeing this logo back here. Elite snacks in this building. Elite. In the last 20 minutes, I've had a small bag of Cool Ranch Doritos and mini chips a hoy. I watch you just crushing snacks in the green room. And a Diet Coke. So we're firing on all cylinders now. We're moving fast here. The commander's defensive coordinator search is not. It's certainly not. And you know what? I don't hate the fact that they haven't hired somebody yet. I wanted this to be a broad search. It's broad, baby. It's quite broad. And I wonder if part of it is of the four teams that are left. There are still guys on those teams that maybe they want to talk to. So I like the fact that they're not rushing to make a hire. I don't even know if it's like of the four teams left. It's also that there's so many open head coaching jobs that guys don't know who's going to end up where. And I mean, honestly, you can still have some guys get fired the way this cycle is gone. Let's run through what we know and kind of what I said all along. I never thought the Brian Flores thing was really going to happen. I took Kevin O'Connell at face value when he said, listen, if he's going to be a defensive coordinator, I believe he'll be our defensive coordinator. Sure enough, that's what happened. Flores has agreed to a deal with the Vikings

that unless he gets a head coaching gig, he's going back to Minnesota. Do you think, and I'm not mad at,

if this is the case, the Washington interview, real interview, or price driver upper? Maybe a little bit of both.

I think you can look at David Blow interviewing with the Lions and maybe that put a little bit of pressure on them. Right. I'm saying the Lions wanting to interview him. Maybe that put a little pressure on the Vikings to get that deal done and make it sweet enough money wise for Flores to stay. He was my top choice from the beginning. He's everybody's top choice. Right. He's a great D.C.

Cindy Sweeney is my top choice.

It ain't happening.

It doesn't mean you can't try and talk it into existence. I'm married, so I'm not talking anything into existence. I will talk it into existence. I just, the Flores thing I never saw as really plausible. The other one that you could cross off the list is Jeff Ulbrick, which really was plausible until, you know, Stefanski decided I'm keeping him here in Atlanta.

And I think the Flores thing, the Obrick thing, I think some of that is why you're now seeing the search broaden out.

The commanders, they're going to interview Al Harris.

That's that we all kind of thought made sense along the way. Obviously, Dallas didn't want to let him go before. So that's probably why he ended up with Joe Witt in the first place. And you wonder if Al Harris now makes a ton of sense. Obviously, the work he did with the secondary in Dallas when they were getting all those picks. This past year with the Bears, they lead the NFL and interceptions.

If you're going to preach ball is life, you've got to have results.

And in 2025, Washington did not.

They were second to last and takeaways.

I mean, they really didn't generate turnovers.

Al Harris, though, has also never called defenses.

Big deal, no deal.

And then you combine that with Blow, having never called offenses.

Like, where are you at on Al Harris as a candidate?
