If you can make your shop a place that people want to hang around at, if you can make the

clients feel like they can sit down and have a chat with you, that you're bringing them into

something rather than transacting with them across a counter, you're doing more than 99% of people

like ever will because they don't have that customer first mentality. They have a mentality coming from

fixing cars where even if you're a really high level mechanic, you go like, I'm servicing the car

and the client is sort of inconvenience. Welcome everybody today. We've got a conversation between me

and my friend Nick who owns B-Line Motor Club. So we have an informal business owner brainstorming session every other Tuesday, and we

decided to record this one just for fun.

We start by talking about storytelling SOPs and how we're approaching things like social

media and content creation, things that a lot of people mistakenly think of as marketing.
