The planets on fires, so yes, this is hell. Last week we started our discussion on the UN Climate Change Summit

taking place in Glasgow.

of the Transnational Institute Report Global Climate Wall on the seven wealthiest

nations, the seven that have contributed the most greenhouse causing gases, spending far

more on building walls to keep climate change induced refugees out rather than on actually mitigating

the worst aspects of climate change thus making it so there will not be as many

refugees or migration caused by extreme weather.

Then yesterday we spoke with journalist Jerome Tojana about his writing at The Baffler magazine,

Land of Thirst, Climate Migration in Darfur, which describes one of the places where they are

building walls to keep those who have been forced to leave their homes due to the effects of

global warming. Out, it's a lesson in the effects of climate change many of us may be facing in the very near future, if not already.
