Report, Global Climate Wall, how the world's wealthiest nations prioritize borders over climate action.

That report states seven of the biggest emitters of greenhouse gases, the United States,

Germany, Japan, the UK, Canada, France, Australia,

collectively spend, spent at least twice as much on border. Australia,

collectively spent at least twice as much on border and immigration enforcement,

on security, as on climate finance between 2013 and 2018.

Canada spent 15 times more, Australia 13 times more, the US almost 11 times more in the

UK nearly 2 times more. What all this amounts to is that every time a refugee or a migrant tries to cross the US-Mexico border or US-funded border controls elsewhere

such as the Mexican border with Guatemala or tries to cross into the EU from countries such as

Afghanistan, Liberia, Senegal, Syria, or Sudan, countries

least responsible for climate change, they are confronted with the walls and guns of the countries with the largest historic

emissions.

In 2020, unusually intense and prolonged rainy seasons in sub-Saharan Africa, including

South Sudan, prompted nearly 4.3 million people to be displaced in the region.

And what was promised by the wealthiest, most greenhouse gas emitting nations to those suffering the most from

climate change despite causing the least greenhouse gas emissions those
