I'm your host, Mike Tarabella, and I'm super excited because today we have Amy Teemanon.

Amy is an investor in Texas. She started with her construction background in 2004

and has been in multifamily since 2010. So welcome to the show, Amy. How are you on this wonderful day?

I'm great. How are you? Just living the dream. We're just talking about how, you know,

the Zoom functionality sometimes is just as a no. We just got to about how, you know, the Zoom functionality sometimes

it just says a no, we just got to call it today, but we overcame it.

We did. We did. It's usually user error, but that's okay. We can, we can know it. I, uh, I like to

blame the technology every once in a while because sometimes we need those days off. But Amy, how did you get evolved mainly with construction

and then evolved into the acquisition side?

Because I think a lot of times people work their way up to construction

and go that way.

But I would love to hear kind of more how you've come down the path that you have.

Well, I mean, my grandfather and I started a glass company in 1960.

So, and then my dad took it over in 1972.

So it was a family business.

So when my grandfather had it, it was really like residential and auto glass,

not a lot of commercial stuff.

But my dad graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in construction technology and he had worked for a large

commercial contractor. So when he came back home to kind of take the family business over,
