Okay, Jennifer is asking. She says, Kim, I'm loving carve, but I'm not losing the fat I would like. I've been following a 14 to 1,500 calorie intake determined by the macro calculator for my goal weight loss since finishing the buns and guns challenge. I'm thinking of doing another shred to cut down my BMI. Should I do four weeks or eight weeks? Or does it depend on how much I want to lose. Please advise. So Jennifer,

0:21.9

there's a couple of things I would ask and the first one is, I think I saw a couple of posts in the

0:27.3

app from you saying that you haven't been 100% consistent with your diet. Now, I'm just guessing.

0:35.0

I can't remember 100%, but I think that's what you said. So the questions I would have for you, Jennifer, if you're here, I don't know if you're here today. Maybe you are. I can check the chat. You might not be. But if you are, I would love to hear from you. What I would say, Jennifer, is, how long have you been eating? And here's the other thing. So you said, I've been following a

0:56.8

1,400 to 1,500 calorie intake. So my first question is, well, which one is it? Is it 1400 or is it

1:03.2

1,500? Is it sometimes 1,400? Sometimes 1,500. Is it sometimes 1,450? Is it sometimes 1,50? So it seems like your calorie intake is a little

1:12.5

loosey goosey and there's nothing wrong with that except that if you want to lose body fat,

1:18.0

there's two things that you need. The first one is you need to be very, very precise with your

1:25.0

diet. And I mean precise. Why do you have to be precise? Because you have to know

1:30.7

if it works or not. And whenever someone says to me, I've been following 14 to 1,500 calories and I

1:37.9

haven't been losing weight. So you've said, I'm not losing the fat. Okay. I'm not losing the fat I would like. And herein

1:49.1

lies the problem, right? There's the fat that's possible to lose and there's the fat we would

1:55.0

like to lose. And quite often the fat we would like to lose really just is not possible in reality.

1:59.8

So, Jennifer, if you're losing a pound a week or two pounds a week, you're doing really good. In fact,

2:05.4

if you're losing two pounds a week, you are smashing it out of the park. If you're

2:10.0

losing one pound a week, you're right on track. The problem is most of us want to lose five

2:15.8

pounds a week or 10 pounds a week. And yes, in the very beginning of a shred program, you to lose five pounds a week or ten pounds a week.

2:17.5

And yes, in the very beginning of a shred program, you could lose five pounds a week,

2:21.4

but that is not sustainable over a long period of time.

2:24.4

So I would like to know, Jennifer, from you if you're watching the replay.

2:29.5

I would love it if you would post maybe in the group or in the app once you've listened to this. What I would want to know from you is, how long have you been following your 14 to 1,500 calorie diet? And has it been 1,400 or has it been 1,500 calories? What cardio are you doing consistently? What strength training are you doing? I know you're doing strength training because I see it all. I see you doing it all in the group. You're always talking about it. I just don't know,

2:54.6

Jennifer, from the posts that I've been seeing from you, whether you're following, whether
