Hello, everybody. Welcome back to the Primal Potential podcast. Welcome back to another

0:07.0

episode in our consistency 365 series. These are many episodes in between our regular

0:15.8

Monday and Saturday full-length episodes where we're talking about the things that get

0:22.5

in the way of consistency and how to overcome them because life gets in the way because the

0:29.1

stories we tell ourselves get in the way and it doesn't have to continue to be that way. We open

0:35.4

up new levels in our life. We open up fulfillment and so much more when we finally get consistent and

0:44.8

not conditionally consistent. One of these things that can get in the way is this story we tell

0:51.5

ourselves the story called failure. Failure is truly subjective. It is your interpretation of

1:02.9

something. It is not a definitive agreed upon fact. The problem with this interpretation you

1:14.1

opt into and label failure is that it hides the lesson that you need in order to get where you

1:25.6

want to go. Failure, this interpretation that you choose clouds your vision and gets you in your

1:35.2

feelings. You're now judging instead of learning. You're judging instead of growing. You're

1:42.7

looking backwards instead of looking forward. In this thing that you might have labeled failure,

1:51.0

there is a piece to the puzzle. There is information that you can use to get from where you are to

1:59.8

where you want to go. You are just being judgmental and emotional when you slap on this label called

2:08.8

failure. The alternative is to say what is there in this for me? What can I learn from this? What can I

2:20.0

take from this and use to be better moving forward? What was the lesson? What is the tool? What do I know now

2:29.5

that maybe I didn't know before or how can I strategize differently based on how this thing went? But to get

2:38.4

in your feelings, to label it, to judge what is behind you instead of looking to seize what is in front of you

2:45.8

or ahead of you, is to miss an opportunity. The next time that you find yourself looking back in judgment,

2:55.0

ask yourself what is there for me that I can use to be better, do better moving forward. We'll see you

3:04.8

guys tomorrow.
