Today I want to ask you a question. And this question aligns with you being more consistent today.

And you being more consistent tomorrow. And you finding ways to incorporate a practice of consistency in your life, no matter what is going on in your circumstances.

What is this story you're telling yourself about your life right now?

I have a few clients in the Consistency course who have stories that sound like I know what to do, but I'm not doing it. I have a few good days and then inevitably I fall off the wagon.

If I have a little bit of something, I just blow it and it turns into an overindulgence.

And that is the story that they tell themselves about their life. That is the story they tell me about their life. And it's not productive.

I recognized for myself that the story I'm telling myself about my life right now has been, I got to lose this pregnancy weight.

I'm trying to get back to a healthier version of myself. These pregnancies kind of took a toll on me and I really want to be strong.

That is very different from the story being I am creating the healthiest, fittest, happiest season of my life.

And I lead with those priorities and I'm intentional about showing up in a way that creates the healthiest, fittest, happiest season of my life.

It's very different than like, there we go. I got to do this work or the story of your life being about the problems or the challenges.

You know, like, oh, I'm not sleeping a lot. Oh, work is so stressful. There's somebody very close to me in my life.

The story that she tells about her life right now is how much work sucks and work is so stressful and work is so this.

And that is like the dominant story. That is the lead horse in every conversation. That's the story she's telling herself about her life right now.

And so it limits her experience of everything else and everything that she does is tied to that.

You know, I'm not working out as much because it's just work is so stressful.

What is the story that you are telling about your life right now? Your choices will absolutely align with the story you are telling yourself.

So what is the story you're telling about your life right now? I want my story to be empowering.

I want my story to align with the kinds of choices that I want to make.
