Hello, everybody. Welcome back to the Primal Potential Podcast and our Consistency 365 series.

0:07.5

A couple days ago, we were talking about that story sent in by a listener about the British

0:13.2

rowing team and they were making their decisions from the standpoint of, will this make the

0:18.6

boat go faster? And I wanted to follow up on that today by reminding you that some of

0:26.8

your choices have too much cost and not enough value. I shared that I didn't want to ask

0:33.5

myself the question, will this make me healthier? Because sometimes I want to incorporate that

0:39.6

ice cream trip with my kids. But when we think about too much cost and not enough value,

1:31.1

right? Too much cost, not enough value. Start looking at the cost of your choices. Start

1:39.9

looking at the value that your choices could bring. There are business opportunities that

1:48.4

have too much cost and not enough value. But if we're not looking at that, if we're

1:53.5

not assessing that, if we're not considering that as a matter of routine, we're probably

1:58.0

going to make some choices that waste time or waste energy or distract us from things

2:05.6

that are more aligned with where we want to go. As you make decisions, start to look

2:11.1

at what is the cost? What is the value? What are some choices? You could create a list,

2:17.9

you could create a category. What are the things that maybe have been habits for you that
