| 0:38.6 | Should I do intermittent fasting or should I be eating protein within 30 minutes |
| 0:41.9 | of waking? Should I be doing this type of exercise or that type of exercise? Should |
| 0:46.1 | I be having more fat or should I be having less fat? Should I include carbohydrates? |
| 0:50.3 | Should I not include carbohydrates? We're overemphasizing options. We're |
| 0:54.6 | under-emphasizing choices. While we're here intellectually wondering which way |
| 1:00.5 | of eating is best, we're choosing Doritos. We're choosing the second piece of |
| 1:05.7 | cake. We're choosing the third alcoholic beverage. I see this all the time. I was |
| 1:12.0 | working with a client who really wants to get her finances out under control |
| 1:15.5 | and wants to make some improvement with some debt that she has. And she's over |
| 1:20.0 | emphasizing options. Some people say I should approach it this way. Some people |
| 1:24.1 | say I should approach it that way. And while she's spinning here or around her |
| 1:28.0 | options, her choices don't reflect any of her goals, right? Because she's like, |
| 1:35.2 | well, I'm still deciding. I'm still deciding. Her choices are out of control. |
| 1:40.1 | For too long, we overemphasize our options and under-emphasize our choices. |
| 1:46.3 | You're always going to have a ton of options. And even if you select a path or a |
