Summary

The US political landscape has shifted dramatically in the last few weeks. The Democratic Party’s search for the best candidate to beat Donald Trump in November now seems likely to end with the nomination of a 77-year-old establishment politician, written off as ‘past it’ just a month ago. system of government fit for purpose when it comes to organizing an effective response?

It's a great question, Stephen, because if you look at the United States in the past,

we have demonstrated that we can lead the globe when we're taking on issues like Ebola,
