| 0:58.1 | I like to share techniques layered together because it makes them that much more powerful. |

| 1:13.3 | the faster you'll begin to notice yourself let go of distractions and restless thoughts. |
| 1:21.5 | Breathing techniques are also one of the best ways to refocus your mind |
| 1:28.0 | when your mind wanders, when negative thoughts creep in or your to-do lists pops in your mind |
| 1:36.1 | right as you're meditating. Focus on your breath for a few moments. Repeat a positive |
| 1:42.8 | uplifting affirmation. You'll find that you begin to calm your mind and body |
| 1:49.5 | and emerge back into inner stillness. Sometimes it can be difficult to do this and you might |
| 1:58.0 | find that you're meditating without really going very deep into a sense of stillness and that's |
| 2:07.9 | okay because meditation is a ritual that requires practice, consistency and patience. |
| 2:21.9 | It's not unlike any other endeavor you undertake such as maybe exercise. |
| 2:29.4 | Some days you feel stronger when you exercise. Maybe you had a great night's sleep or you |
| 2:36.4 | fueled yourself really well. Meditation is the same way. Expect that you'll have days that |
| 2:43.5 | are more difficult to focus than others. The most important thing you can do is to keep showing up |
