THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE:

Pursue one thing this week that allows you to trust yourself. You might try waking up a little earlier in the morning to journal about ways to trust yourself.

You are guided with a different meditation technique every day that is customized for the week's theme. Weave the techniques into the most stressful times of your day to manage difficult emotions. The meditation techniques help to calm the "monkey mind," when your thoughts continuously interrupt your meditation.

In today's episode, we continue on day two of our series all about self-trust.

0:26.4

And as you trust yourself this week, know that you may be removing a mask,

0:38.4

removing a way of being or a perception of yourself, that isn't really who you are.

0:48.8

And you may find that you do this because it's so much easier and safer to wear this mask.

0:56.8

But what you will find is that it's actually much easier and safer to be yourself, your authentic self.

1:09.3

And you may find that you're not even really sure who you are anymore these days.

when to say yes, when to say no to take control of your life. And this is by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr.

John Townsend. A lot of times we want to do the right thing, but we just feel like we don't know

1:56.6

what to do because we don't trust ourselves. So I thought you might enjoy hearing a little about

2:17.2

boundaries define us. They define what is me and what is not me. A boundary shows me where I end

2:26.2

and someone else begins leading me to a sense of ownership. Knowing what I am to own and take

2:34.3

responsibility for gives me freedom. If I know where my yard begins and ends, I am free to do with

2:42.0

it what I like. Taking responsibility for my life opens up many different options. However,

2:50.1

if I do not own my life, my choices and options become very limited, think how confusing it would be

2:58.9

if someone told you to guard this property diligently because I will hold you responsible for what
