| 1:28.1 | Chinese medicine also claims that one of my favorite books is called Healing with Whole Foods, Asian traditions and modern nutrition. |

| 1:42.6 | I refer to this book often when I have any kind of health question or concern. |
| 1:48.9 | And I'll share with you a quote by Paul Pitchford. |
| 1:51.9 | He says, ironically in the United States, a land of plenty indeed, excess, many people are highly deficient in minerals as a result of our food production and processing methods. |
| 2:07.1 | As such, these deficiencies can lead to degenerative diseases. |
| 2:12.5 | Not only the United States experiences these deficiencies in food, but all around the world, food quality is diminishing. |
| 2:24.5 | So this week, as you do self-care, focus on the quality of food that you eat. |
| 2:32.5 | And if you could incorporate one habit, such as maybe eating organically, maybe you already eat organically, |
| 2:41.5 | or maybe you could eliminate something that you're currently eating that you know is not great for you, such as many of the packaged foods. |
| 2:52.5 | So think about this. |
