Summary

Compass of Our Heart - All of our actions, our entire life experience, arises from the energy of intention. While it’s natural that our intentions are shaped by egoic wants and fears, when we bring this into conscious, compassionate awareness, we can discover the deep aspiration that guides and energizes our awakening hearts and minds. 1:04.4	In 2001, the line up was such that I was the second person.
1:10.1	I was the only woman.
1:11.1	I was the kind of youngest in terms of seniority as teachers.
1:15.7	The person that went in front of me was Roshi Baker.
1:21.2	He was Richard Baker and he was very, very well known.
1:25.0	I was kind of glad about the line up because being second, I had enough time, his ten minutes
1:31.3	to kind of gather myself, but I didn't have to wait too long and get kind of revved
1:35.6	up and nervous.
1:37.9	So he went first and he got up and the question was posed and he said, the key to freedom
1:45.6	is intention and attention.
1:50.1	And then he bowed and that was his whole ten minutes speech.
