Dear Father in heaven, as we begin our day, we ask for your guidance and strength to help us serve others.

Please open our eyes. Please let us see those around us that are in need of your compassion.

Please remind us that every person we encounter is created in your image and deserves to be treated with love and respect.

Compel us to listen to them, to hear their needs.

Give us the heart to be interested in their troubles and show us the ways that we can help.

We pray in Jesus' name, amen.

This is Sandy from New Hampshire.

My husband, Daniel, and I kind of missed the Merry Christmas part,

but maybe, just maybe, I'll be in time for a happy New Year. I am so thankful for DAB.

Brian, I'm thankful that you listen to the Nudge of the Holy Spirit. And it started out as a question,

a risk. What would happen if? Would anybody listen?

And yet here we are, January 1st, we're going to have 20 years of faithfulness in God's word every day. Daniel and I have been here for about seven or eight, I believe. I wanted to thank you, Hardin family, for sharing your husband and dad with us.

Brian, I want to thank you for being faithful every single day.

I appreciate the insights you give, and I appreciate the I love you at the end of your broadcast.

I wonder how many people don't hear I love you every day,
