I don't know why that's the thing that people on the radio field need to do tell you what day

it is when you can probably

look at the calendar or when you a countdown of how many days are left in the year. I guess that's a

little bit fun. I shouldn't be cynical. The Grinch's season is over. So I will cease challenging him

and cease demanding that he explained his Grinchy self. I am your guest host, Dean Carriannis. I will be here with you for the

rest of this week. And Derek will be back with you on the 5th of January in what sounds like the

let's get into a little bit of the news. This week of the year is one of those where, if I'm talking to somebody about the press, when I work in media or the years that I've worked in media, people would always ask me various questions.

It's sort of like when I worked in animal hospitals and I was a veterinary technician, they would ask me questions about their pets.

And this is a little bit the same.

If you think about them dragging their butt across the carpet, they might ask you, why is Wolf

Blitzer dragging his butt across the carpet? And why is Dan Rather constantly filling a litter box

out there with the things that he should probably be covering over. Although, he got to hand it to Dan Rather.

He did try to cover up.

When he got caught, he, did ever catch a cat that's covering up its own crap?
