But they're about to undergo an election.

How does that work?

They work together, the Commonwealth.

We begin in Canada, where the conservatives have lost three elections in a row and now are facing a tough slog for the fourth

election. The candidate for the conservatives for some time now has enjoyed positive polls, but

that's turned tight. His name is Pierre Poldevra. He's from the West. He speaks excellent French,

I'm told. In addition, he's something of a cowboy. He would never forgive him. You would never confuse him with a European in any fashion whatsoever. He enjoys the West of Canada. At the same time, the Liberal Party, saw Justin Trudeau, the Prime Minister for nearly 10 years, step aside.

And the Liberal Party then went to an election of its own leadership.

The winner of that was a man named Mark Carney, who is not a politician.

He's a central banker.

He's 60 years old.

He's been the Bank of Canada's governor. He's been the Bank of Canada's governor.

He's been the Bank of England's governor.

He's a prominent figure at Davos.

He is everything you would expect from a well-educated, extremely sophisticated world traveler

who spent the moments campaigning for the Liberal Party by talking about his vision of Canada as a centerpiece of the new green technology, the world beyond fossil fuels.

He traveled that once he was elected, that made him immediately the premier of Canada.
