you had an awesome New Year's Eve. And today I wanted to make an episode that is kind of going

along with the theme of New Year's resolutions. And specifically, I want to talk about the levels of

commitment, which I learned from Dr.

Aziz Ghaziz Ghazipura and Dr. Aziz if you don't already know is my boss and he created the

creating goals for our next year. We are at least thinking about it. If you don't have like a new

year's process that you go through, at least you're kind of thinking about it and people ask you, what are your

New Year's resolutions? And so today I want to talk about the levels of commitment that we can have

when it comes to our goals. So the first level is no commitment, which seems pretty self-explanatory,

but a lot of the times we really want the goal,

but we just don't believe that it's possible for us, or we don't believe we are capable

of following through. And so we just don't even bother committing to it anymore because we

don't want to set ourselves up for disappointment. The second level of commitment is when you really want the result, but you want it with

little or no effort.

So this is when you want some kind of magic pill.

And I know we've talked about dieting a little bit on this podcast.

Like I've been there where I want to lose weight, but I want to do it in the quickest way possible

with some fat burning pill or something like that, or you want the silver bullet,

like the thing to solve all of your problems without you needing to put in a lot of effort.
